These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Daily Breads of Life ("Daily Breads", "we", "us", or "our") concerning your access to and use of the Daily Breads website (dailybreadsoflife.com), the Daily Breads Android application, and any associated APIs and content services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, or accessing any part of the Service, you signify your agreement to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Daily Breads provides spiritual resources designed to encourage Christian faith, daily Bible reading, and devotional contemplation. Features include:

• Chapter completion and Bible reading progress synchronization across your devices.
• Revision questions, comprehension reviews, and spiritual study milestones.
• Community prayer request submission and prayer counters.
• Push notifications and verse reminders via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• Administrator-managed editorial content and Bible study series.

3. User Accounts & Device Synchronization

Certain features, including cross-device progress synchronization and prayer request tracking, may require you to register an account or allow device identifier association.

• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Device Security: You are responsible for maintaining the physical and digital security of your mobile device.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Daily Breads in accordance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, or discriminatory purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, compromise, reverse engineer, or overload our backend API, servers, or networks.
• Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or unauthorized tools to extract content or flood prayer submissions.
• Impersonate any person, ministry, organization, or administrator.
• Bypass any access controls, rate limits, or security mechanisms established on the Service.

5. Prayer Requests & User Submissions

Our prayer request feature enables users to share prayer needs with the broader Christian community. When submitting a prayer request:

• Appropriate Content: You agree to submit only sincere, respectful prayer requests that do not contain confidential third-party information, profanity, harassment, commercial solicitations, or hate speech.
• Editorial Moderation: Daily Breads reserves the right, but has no obligation, to review, edit, moderate, or remove any prayer request or user comment that violates these Terms or is deemed detrimental to our community.
• License to Display: By submitting prayer requests or feedback, you grant Daily Breads a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute such content within the application for prayer and community purposes.

6. Intellectual Property & Scripture Credits

All devotional texts, articles, study questions, graphics, branding, logos, and software code on Daily Breads are the intellectual property of Daily Breads of Life or its respective licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

• Personal, Non-Commercial License: We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to access and read devotionals and Bible study materials for your personal spiritual use.
• Scripture Quotations: Scripture texts cited throughout the Service are taken from recognized Bible translations and used according to the fair use and permissions guidelines of their respective copyright holders.

7. Push Notifications

The Daily Breads Android application utilizes Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver daily verses, devotional updates, and prayer reminders. You may configure or disable push notifications at any time through your Android device settings or within the app's notification preferences.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL DEVOTIONAL CONTENT, BIBLE STUDY MATERIALS, AND ANDROID APP FEATURES, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

DAILY BREADS OF LIFE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS, NOR DO WE WARRANT THE ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY DEVOTIONAL COMMENTARY OR TECHNICAL TRANSMISSION.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DAILY BREADS OF LIFE, ITS MINISTERS, WRITERS, ADMINISTRATORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

10. Modifications to the Service & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Daily Breads application or website at any time without prior notice. We may also revise these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the Service, users, or the Christian fellowship mission of Daily Breads.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Daily Breads operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
